Traditional textiles

 

In this showroom various traditional textiles are exhibited. Some of them are for daily use, while others are exclusive for ceremonial usage or weared during specific traditional dances only. A cotton drapery called "Kain Sinun" is used to cover the corpse of the deceased. Another exhibited drapery called "Kain Kanuni" is manufactured of sago bark fibers.
