American Council for Southern Asian Art (ACSAA)
The American Council for Southern Asian Art (ACSAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the study and awareness of the art of South and Southeast Asia and the Himalayan regions. In addition to periodic symposia, usually held every two years, ACSAA pursues these goals through various projects, including its annual bulletin, bibliographies, a color slide project, a microfiche archive and outreach materials. Since its incorporation in 1967, ACSAA has grown from its original fifteen members to an organization of some three hundred individuals and institutions.

International Council of Museum (ICOM)
ICOM is the international organisation of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world's natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible. Created in 1946, ICOM is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) maintaining formal relations with UNESCO. ICOM’s 28,000 members from 137 countries play an important role in the preservation and conservation of both tangible and intangible cultural heritage.

International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS)
The International Institute for Asian Studies (IIAS) is a postdoctoral research centre based in Leiden and Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Its objective is to encourage the interdisciplinary and comparative study of Asia and promote national and international cooperation. The institute focuses on the human and social sciences and on their interaction with other sciences.

Lab for Culture
Lab for Culture works with and for artists, arts and culture organizations and networks, cultural professionals and audiences in the 50 countries of Europe, as well as providing a platform for cultural cooperation between Europe and the rest of the world. Their mission is both to ensure that all those working on cultural collaboration have access to up-to-the-minute information and to encourage the cultural sector to become more experimental with online technologies.

School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London and the Brunei Gallery
The School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) is a college of the University of London and the only Higher Education institution in the UK specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. The Galleries, within The Brunei Gallery building, host a programme of changing exhibitions that reflect subjects and regions studied at the School.
In 2010, the VCM sets up a partnership with SOAS and its Brunei Gallery thanks to the organization of the ASEMUS travelling exhibition "Posing Questions: being & image in Asia & Europe".

Society for East Asian Archaeology (SEAA)
The SEAA-web is an information platform dedicated to communicating the activities of the Society for East Asian Archaeology (SEAA), to spreading news of upcoming events and note-worthies in the field to members and the interested public, and to publishing and sharing information on research based on archaeologically recovered material comprising China, Korea, Japan and adjacent regions in all periods, thus aiming at further fostering a network of expertise in East Asian archaeology.

The Society of Friends of Asian Art in the Netherlands
The Society of Friends of Asian Art in the Netherlands was founded in 1918. Its aims were to promote and stimulate public interest for Asian Art, as well as to encourage research on the subject. Over the years, a collection of international reputation has been assembled. The collection is on long-term loan at the Rijksmuseum at Amsterdam and forms the core of the Asian department.
