The Gyeonggi Provincial Museum, a large three-story building with a blunt conical tower, sits at the top of a small mountain in central Yongin city, half an hour South of Southern Seoul. It was completed in 1996. The museum has held several exhibitions examining the cultural identity of Gyeonggi Province. The museum also excavates and researches Gyeonggi Province's history and culture, publishes academic research reports, and conserves and administers cultural properties. * Opening hours · March through October: 09:00~19:00 · November through February: 09:00~17:00 · The Museum is closed every Monday * Admission fee · 700 won for ages 25 to 64 · 300 won for over 19 and under 25 · Free for under 19 and over 65 Virtual gallery
