Maidstone Museum is an award-winning museum, housed in a beautiful Elizabethan manor house with Victorian and later additions. Founded in 1858 the museum has plenty to surprise and delight people of all ages. Collection highlights include the Japanese collection with over 3,000 pieces, an Egyptian Mummy, Anglo-Saxon archaeology and the Victorian art gallery.
