Leeum, Samsung Museum of Art, opened in October 2004, is a complex that brings traditional Korean art and modern and contemporary art to one location. Leeum consists of MUSEUM 1 and MUSEUM 2, dedicated to the display of the collection, and Samsung Child Education and ulture Center, in which a special exhibition gallery is located. The three buildings, designed respectively by Mario Botta, Jean Nouvel and Rem Koolhaas, not only embody the architects' unique visions but work together harmoniously to create a unified cultural complex.
