Since opening its doors to the public in 1993, the Museum of East Asian Art has been a beacon of East Asian art and culture in the west of England and houses one of the most remarkable collections of art from this part of the world in the United Kingdom. This unique museum houses a fine collection of ceramics, jades, and bronzes, with a collection of almost 2,000 objects. Ranging in date from c.5000 BC to the present day, the collection offers visitors a wonderful insight into the art and cultures of China, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia.
