The hat is a priceless, unique object and the only nobleman's hat that has been found fully intact.

History of the Object: The hat was found in a nobleman’s tomb by a team of Mongolian archaeological researchers. Illustrations of a Khan nobleman's hat were also found on Persian miniatures from the 13th and 14th Century.
