This trilingual silver coin issued from the Chatigrama mint (Chittagong) in AD 1593 during the reign of the king of Arakan / Salim Shah's reign 1593 AD to 1612 AD. On the front part of the trilingual coin inscribed with the Arakanese language and alphabets and on the back upper inscrived with Arabic while the lower part is proto-Bengali script. Obverse : Within a double circles spanned by dots, (the legend is in Burmese script, but we give the translation), "963, Lord of the White Elephant, Lord of Men and Land, Salim Shah (1593-1612 AD)". Reverse : Within a circle, divided into two parts, upper part having Arabic script and lower part having Bengali script. This coin is the avidance of cultural harmony in this region.
