Why this is a
Masterpiece

This decorative object has the shape of a water-lily flower that is commonly used for decoration on Khmer works of art - as much as the lotus. A five-headed Naga is placed near the open flower. On both supports there are lotus forms with stylistic Makara. This piece exhibits beauty and a high quality of bronze casting techniques coupled with symbolic meanings by incorporating lotus, Naga and Makara decoration.
