Why this is a
Masterpiece

This is a unique female figure depicted sitting in a kneeling position with both hands raised. It is thought she supported a mirror. This figure is wearing heavy jewellery which characteristically dates it to Angkor Wat style. The elegance of her body coupled with her facial expression and quality of casting techniques to produce an actively natural image, categorizes this figure as a masterpiece of Khmer art.
