Why this is a
Masterpiece

This statue is one of only a few Vishnu statues from the early Angkorian period which remains complete. In this masterwork, a new innovation in Khmer art is noted which differs from earlier styles; the sampot is depicted in a more complex and realistic manner compared with statues from earlier periods.
