Why this is a
Masterpiece

The design of the saddle certainly belongs to the classical Pazyryk type, consisting of two connected to each other by braided leather cushion stuffed with wool and felt cover.

History of the Object
Berel barrow is located in the picturesque valley of the Kazakh Altai, where an international archaeological expedition was led by Z. Samashev from 1997 to 1999. By the research group, a royal burial ground, which included the king and queen and thirteen horses was discovered. More than a dozen sets of residues were discovered in the two mounds of Berel barrow. Some of them are preserved well making it possible to completely remodel their most important elements.
