The plane of the West Market site shaped like a rectangle which was 1,031m long from north to south and 927m wide from east to west, embedded 1.8-2.5m under the surface. There were each two parallel streets from north to south and east to west in the market and formed the East, West, North and South Streets. The four streets crossed like a “#” shape.
