An angular astronomical instrument for determining the position of the stars. Goniometer used for astronomical and geodetic observations, consists of five double-sided engraved discs, magazine shells with engraved tables and transmission-type indicator in form of a "spider" with viewfinder edges that were fixing the position of the stars. The measurements were carried out in a vertical position, for which the astrolabe was suspended for the ring.
