Why this is a
Masterpiece

The letters 'su' and 'bok' which mean "wishing for a long life", are intagliated on the needle case which is made of silver. Also, a variety of beautiful designs including flowers and birds are engraved on the case.

History of the Object
It is assumed that this was a portable needle case which court nurses of the Joseon era wore while working.
