It is an archaeological piece of high value. it is rare and skillful carving.

History of the Object
The sculpture was discovered in the ruins of a temple near U-pali-thein in 1975, when a great earthquake took place in Bagan. This dolomite relief sculpture reveals two colors, white and grey. It looks like ivory at a casual glance, but it is of dolomite stone. The Eight Events in Buddha’s life are presented skillfully.
