Why this is a
Masterpiece

The agricultural flag became the symbol for the village during rituals and Doorae. All events begin and end with the flag. There were even customs where villages of low class had to bow to the agricultural flag of the villages of higher classes.

History of the Object
An agricultural flag is a flag that represents and symbolizes the village. SingNongYooUp is written vertically in the middle and the year it was made is written at the top right. The word SingNongYooUp means the work left by the Chinese farmer SingNong, who is believed to be the first person to have taught farming. The agricultural flag was used in Joogok-ri, Sangwol-myun, Nonsan City, Chungcheongnamdo. It was initially made in July 1846, but was remade in the Japanese Colonial Period.
