Masterpiece

It is the most beautiful and famous bronze drum in the world with its form and motif that vividly reflect spiritual and material life of ancient Viet. It is also a "Vietnamese national valuable object"

History of the Object
Discovered by a resident of Ngoc Lu village, Ha Nam province in 1893 - 1894. In 1902 the French brought it to the museum and after withdrawing from Vietnam they left it to the Vietnam History Museum. This object reflects the high technique of bronze casting and a typical motif of the ancient Viet.
