Masterpiece

This ivory-white glazed porcelain dish is one of the best of Chinese Ding Ware porcelains. It has a copper inlaid mouth rim to cover its unglazed rim from the upside-down firing. Its molded design of dragon and clouds are distinct and superb.

History of the Object
The glaze has some tear stains on the surface which is characteristic of the Ding Ware porcelain.
