Why this is a
Masterpiece

It is noteworthy that whereas single-legged treadmills were widely used in China, Japan, Taiwan and other Asian countries, double-legged treadmills were only used in Korea. Double-legged treadmills are more efficient, and ground grains are finer as these mills are heavier. This shows the ancestral wisdom of working together to enhance efficiency while enjoying each other’s company as farming could be very monotonous and tedious.

History of the Object
A treadmill pounds and grinds grains. A pestle moves up and down when one steps on or off a foothold, grinding the grains in the hollow. A log becomes the foothold and a pestle is put on the other side of the log. A hollow is made by burying stone mortar in the ground.
