Why this is a
Masterpiece

This is a square stone engraved with nine divinities representing nine planets in niches. It is not a lintel although it appears like one. The real purpose of this scene is unknown. The nine planets are Surya (Sun), Chandra (Moon), Angaraka (Mars), Budha (Mercury), Brihaspati (Jupiter), Sukra (Venus), Sanischara (Saturn), Ketu and Rahu.
