Why this is a
Masterpiece

Shaped like a shuttlecock, this object is believed to have been used as a cup. It is rare to find this kind of a pottery excavated in its complete form. The round bottom and the slope of the side of the vessel are also distinctive.

History of the Object
The object was discovered in Imok-ri of Yeoncho-myeon, Geoje City. While digging out earth with an excavator to construct a farm road, it appeared with other stones (old stones) and fragmented pottery pieces. They left them alone near the construction site but later, during surface exploration, were collected and then preserved in the museum.
