This painting is the typical style of Bumandorj and it is a historical painting. It is a Masterpiece of Modern Mongolian Art.

History of the Object
From 1990s on many Mongolian herders migrated to Ulaan Baatar. They settled in what is called the "ger" district. There were the Mongolian traditional gers and new houses with fences. In this painting, the artist wanted to express the past with a traditional camel caravan.
