Why this is a
Masterpiece

The puppets were made by P. Damdinsuren, the puppet master of the Puppet Theatre. They express clearly the national characteristics. The puppet artists were able to play by moving all twelve parts of the puppet (head, neck, legs, knees, tale, main body, etc.), which shows the excellence of the puppet masters. The artists used to perform the show independently from each other.

History of the Object
The theme is the enchanting manner of a female camel to accept the bother and let its calf to milk her. It’s a personal show by the state honored artist L. Chimiddorj and A. Dorjpurev, performed in the State Puppets Theatre since 1965. They received an award at the 3rd International Festival of Puppet Art held in Bucharest, Romania, in 1965.
