Why this is a
Masterpiece

A girdle made of twisted and braided rattan rattan strips with red and yellow ornamentation on both sides. This kind of vanity tube rattan ornament worn on the hips of Kalinga women was worn to add volume to the hips of women. It represented fertility. This is a product of a skilled craftsman who fashioned the item from even rattan strips. When done according to the specifications of the wearer, additional natural colors are added to the girdle.
