There is a great variety of excavated potsherds: - brown ware with brown slip and organic tempering - white ware with grey tempering - grey ware, cord marked and with fine sand tempering - black and white ware with rice chaff tempering - brown ware with grog tempering - white ware , cord marked and with coarse sand tempering - red ware with red slip and organic molluse and laterite tempering This variety helps us better understand the Lao Pako way of life.

History of the Object
The potsherds were found in 1994. The artefact has been excavated from the Lao Pako archaeological site. It has been cleaned and reconstructed to help understand the lifestyle of Lao Pako.
