Why this is a
Masterpiece

At the centre of the face or head one can see the figure of a moon or sun spreading its rays in concentric circles across the entire face. Figures of birds, fish, snails, cocks and flowers are used as decoration between the circular lines. At the outer rim of the face, moulded figures of frogs are welded at four places. The drum is of high cultural importance.

History of the Object
The bronze drum is regarded by all Kayin people as a very important cultural and traditional object.
