It is a beautiful axe in perfect condition.

History of the Object
A relatively big axe, used during certain ceremonies and filled with water so it can also be called a container (bejana). It shows a decoration of a human mask combined with a meander motif and horizontal lines. The sides are decorated with a fishbone design. It is made in a double mould, the rough surface and the dividing line still visible.
