Cradle figurines are rare and this is a unique instance of two infants, possibly twins, in a cradle with their mother, represented by the rectangular plaque.

History of the Object
The figurine was found in the excavations of tombs at Lapithos in Cyprus, conducted by the Swedish Cyprus Expedition in the 1920s.
